‘Battlestar Galactica’ star Richard Hatch dead

“Battlestar Galactica” star Richard Hatch has died at the age of 71.

“It is confirmed that Richard Hatch passed today (Tuesday) around 1.30 p.m. after a battle with pancreatic cancer,” his representative told pagesix.com.

Hatch’s son Paul was by his side in Santa Clarita, California, when the actor passed away. He is also survived by his brother John.

“I will always remember him fondly for his inspiring sense of youthful wonder, his boundless passion for creative expression, and his huge, kind heart,” the representative said.

Along with his role of Captain Apollo in TV series “Battlestar Galactica”, Hatch is known for his role of Philip Brent Sr in “All My Children.”
