Four new faces to walk at LFW Summer/Resort 2018 runway

The Summer-Resort 2018 season of Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) will see four new faces walking the ramp.

A panel of industry experts chose four winners- Parul Shah, Muskaan Bisaria, Aradhana Buragohain and Amrita Ganesh after three competitive rounds to walk for the upcoming season.

They were judged by Bollywood actress Esha Gupta, designer Nikhil Mehra of the brand Shantanu & Nikhil, Fashion Choreographer and show director Lubna Adams, Head of Fashion, IMG Reliance Jaspreet Chandok and Head of Innovation, Lakmé Purnima Lamba.

“I am very glad to be here today. I remember the time when I had auditioned for LFW and it’s amazing to be on the other side judging the competition. Confidence is one of the most important requirements to be a winner at the auditions; it sets you apart from the crowd,” said the actress.

Added Nikhil Mehra: “The one thing that I absolutely loved about the event was how democratic it was. There was a time when auditions had a minimum height and weight requirement but that’s not the case anymore. I absolutely loved the confidence that these girls displayed, they truly are the leaders of tomorrow.”

Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2018 is scheduled to take place between January 31 to February 4 at St. Regis.
