Rajesh Pratap Singh, Raghavendra Rathore unite for fashion night

Fashion gurus Shantanu and Nikhil Mehra, Rajesh Pratap Singh and Raghavendra Rathore are among the designers who will celebrate the best of Indian menswear at the third edition of Van Heusen + GQ Fashion Nights.

Designers Arjun Khanna and Gaurav Gupta, Sahil Aneja, Dhruv Kapoor and Ujjawal Dubey will also showcase at the fashion gala, which will be held on November 11 and 12 at the Taj Land’s End, here, read a statement.

There will also be a special show by brand Van Heusen.

Shantanu and Nikhil said that they are exploring a new arena in “which storytelling and fashion come alive on a sartorial canvas”.

Talking about the third edition, Che Kurrien, Editor, GQ, said: “This year’s designers’ collections will reflect a dynamic range of styles, sensibilities and points of view – making this platform the leading showcase for the best menswear in India.”

Sharing a sneak peek of his collection, Gupta said: “A bespoke Made to Measure line in India, the collection is inspired by constellations, stars and space, and consists of very edgy, sexy and progressive tuxedos, asymmetric jackets.”

For Singh, it’s all about a new direction in silhouettes and construction.

“The looks will be pure, modern and definitely from small-town India,” he said.
